Google Reviews may not always be they seem to be.

Many companies will post false reviews to boost their image.  This blog will hopefully guide you to distinguish between authentically generated customer reviews vs. Fake reviews that are made by companies to build up their own rating.

If you see a 5-Star Google rating with no comments, chances are it is likely a fake Google review. Additionally, pay very close attention to the 1-Star Google ratings because those are written by homeowners that are upset with a company and trying to warn others.  Also make sure that you are reviewing the most recent reviews.  Older reviews will go to the top of the page and the newer reviews are usually located at the bottom.   Click on "newest reviews" to review the most recent reviews.
